Profile

The Global Contract Foundation was established in January 2002 by 22 founders, and its registered office is in Hamburg, Germany. Its founders were convinced that one of the central challenges of the 21st century would be to further the concept of sustainability, in its ecological, economic, social and cultural dimension, as much as possible. This implies the development of improved global framework conditions. Consequently, the aim of the Foundation is the promotion and scientific analysis of global contracts between the relevant political, economic and social forces in order to establish a sustainable global governance system.
